What 70 US med spas charge for a membership

Across all 162 plans the median is $172 a month, and half of them fall between $125 and $249. The most common prices are $99, $199 and $149. What the fee buys moves the price more than anything else, so the table splits plans the same way the calculator does.

Middle half means the 25th to 75th percentile. "Typically included" reads the plans priced inside the middle half. These are list prices from each clinic's page, without sign-up fees or promotions.

Within single-service plans, facial and skin clubs have a median of $175 across 59 plans. Neurotoxin clubs spread the widest, from $19 to $315 a month. The cheapest mostly unlock member pricing on Botox and similar toxins, while the priciest includes about 25 units a month.

Among multi-service plans, credit banks have a median of $164. In 48 of 50, the monthly credit is at least the full fee, and 3 clinics add a bonus on top. Clubs that only buy member pricing are cheaper, with a median of $99. Of all 162 plans, 15 include a set number of neurotoxin units, from 5 to 35 a month, with a median of 17.

Sorted by type, then price. Each clinic links to the page its price came from, checked September 29, 2026. If a clinic has changed its page since, its page is right and this table is out of date.

Single-service, multi-service, or all-access?

The calculator sorts memberships by what the monthly fee buys, and the tables above use the same rules.

• Single-service: one service line each month. Usually a facial or skin treatment picked from a skin menu, sometimes a neurotoxin allotment or a laser hair removal session.
• Multi-service: the fee comes back as credit to spend on anything, often called a beauty bank, or it buys member pricing across the menu.
• All-access: two or more treatments a month, or one pick from a menu that puts neurotoxin units next to facials and lasers.

Type comes first because a $19 tox club and an all-access plan at $505 are different products. One average across both tells you little about either.

How to price a med-spa membership

A membership price has three jobs. It has to cover the cost of delivering the included benefit, sit far enough below your à la carte prices to be worth joining for, and still leave a margin once members start redeeming.

1. Start from what clinics charge for your membership type in the table above, not a number that simply undercuts your à la carte menu.
2. Set the included monthly benefit and its retail value, so the membership reads as a clear discount rather than a vague perk.
3. Subtract the cost of delivering that benefit: product and provider time. On injectables and skincare that's commonly 30 to 50%.
4. Check the price floor: below the cost to deliver, every redeeming member loses money. The calculator flags that line.
5. Confirm the program margin holds across the share of members who redeem, then check where your price lands in the table above before you publish it.

Why the price isn't the margin: breakage and utilization

A membership's gross margin depends on how many members redeem their benefit each month. Members who pay and don't redeem cost almost nothing to serve that month, so a program's blended margin runs higher than the per-member margin on a single redemption. That gap is breakage, and it's a real part of membership economics. Subscription businesses lean on it heavily.

Breakage is upside, not a plan. A program priced to only work if members forget to show up is fragile: utilization rises as members get into a routine, and the margin compresses toward the per-member figure. The calculator shows both the breakage upside at your assumed redemption rate and the price floor that holds even when everyone redeems.

Add your membership price

The table only covers prices clinics publish. It can't see what members pay after promotions, or what clinics without a public price charge. If you run a membership, you can add your monthly price in the panel under the calculator.

It's anonymous and only ever pooled. Prices are grouped by membership type and clinic size, and a group shows a median only once 20 med spas in it have added theirs. Until then nothing is shown, and your number is never displayed on its own.

How these numbers were collected

Every price comes from the clinic's own membership page, opened on September 29, 2026. We started from the clinics that rank for searches like "med spa memberships", then added clinics city by city. A plan made the table only if its page showed a monthly price. Clinics that sign members up only in an app, say "call for pricing" or show prices only in an image were skipped, and so were annual-only plans. Weight-loss, hormone, IV-only and body-contouring-only memberships are left out because their price is mostly drug or device cost.

The sample covers 21 states and leans toward the metros we searched: TX (12 clinics), NY (6) and CO (5) have the most. It also leans toward clinics that publish prices. Read the medians as published US list prices, not a national survey.

The cost-to-deliver default reflects typical med-spa injectable and skincare margins. The redemption default is anchored to subscription breakage data, since med-spa redemption figures are sparse. Both are editable, and the revenue and margin math is an estimate from your inputs.
